Just when we thought we were up on the latest crazes, I remember the day two young girls came in and asked “have you got Tamagotchis?” We just looked at each other and wondered if it was some new disease :-
So, we looked into it and within the week we had the new display of cyber pets, the parents’ nightmare. No longer would children do as asked because the Tamagotchi needed to be fed !
I seem to remember there were a lot of complaints that cyber pets were dying prematurely and many a refund was requested. The trials and tribulations of being a shop owner !
