There were so many packs to choose from, that you could buy as much or as little Hama as you needed. When the beads are ironed, the pegboards were re-usable again and again. There were various packs of pegboards available to create shapes, figures and animals etc.

Hama was the perfect user-friendly system. It developed a child’s creativity whilst playing. Nothing is fixed until the child is satisfied with it. With a few Hama pegboards and a variety of colourful beads, the imagination can run riot!

We stocked one of the largest selections available in North Wales.

Carefully place the beads on to the pegboard either in your own design or following one of the designs from the many books available.

Beads were available in packs from 1,000 to 36,000 as well as kits and activity boxes.

Pegboards were available in all sorts of shapes and designs.

Cover the design with ironing paper and fuse with a household iron. This step should be done by an adult. Be careful not to press too hard or the peg board will be melted.

When the beads have cooled but still slightly warm, carefully remove the design from the pegboard. Keep flat with a book until completely cool.

The beads came in every colour possible in various finishes including, fluorescent, glitter and glow in the dark.
