I remember we had the phone call one day:
“Hi, we’ve brought out a range of miniature skate boards that you play with your fingers, they’re called Tech Deck, and we think you should stock them as they going to be very big”
“Why would kids want to mess with tiny skateboards, think we’ll give it a miss.”
“OK, I’m going to send you some free samples, call me back on this number to make your order.”
Well a few samples arrived in the post and when we saw the real thing we knew it was going to be a winner. We showed the samples to the local kids and were back on the phone same day to make our first order !
With graphics from real worldwide skateboard brands and the little pack of spare wheels, nuts and tools they were, and still are, a huge success.
In fact we bought our grandson some just last Christmas.
They are all at Teck Deck and available in many toy shops.
