Long before the arrival of laser cutters, these keyrings were all hand made. There was a range of about 32 different animals.

I was always fascinated how each keyring was produced from about five different woods, shaped into curves and then highly polished. I think I would have wanted to charge at least £50 if I had been making them :-)

A very talented craftsman.

Picture is of a similar design as I don’t have any original pictures. I think ours had eyes in wood rather than the “googly” type.
